With the end of my current walkabout, I was left at home waiting for something to happen, anything. Getting mail from the mailman was more exciting than most anything in thos 3 days between Senior Seminar and now. On the first day I got my temps renewed... that was about it. By 11:00 a.m. I felt like I was slowly going insane, talking to the cat about something or other, listening to the theme of Tetris over and over again. By the time my dad was home I was on the floor in my room cutting through some fabric convinced that I was making a skirt.
Wednesday was a little better, I had decided to Blog, but NO! My dad had the cookies blocked on the computer so I couldn't log onto the blogger website. Fuming, I 'hacked' into one of the administrator accounts to get it running, but with no such luck. Getting bored with that, I messed with the firewall controls until I could play one of my computer games... while listening to blaring rave music. It was all I could think about, the beats that passed through the body and carried it away in a wave of darkness with neon glowsticks. Serriously, I even wrote a poem about rave music and sent it to my friends on Gaia. I got off the computer, played Dance Dance Revolution, then went into work for the rest of the day.
Thursday wasn't much better, I spent the whole day reading yaoi stories and listening to blaring rave music. All day. At one point (at 8:00 a.m.) I was going on about rainbows to a friend of mine. I don't know why. I kept trying to call Pat to let him know to pick me up Friday to take me back to ISI (Amy just told me to go ahead and go back), and I got frustrated at not being able to get ahold of him. Giving up, I headed to work where my already shot nerves were tested when I was put on Drive thru to learn how to work in that area. There's this buzzer that goes off, and it's really loud. I could litteraly feel my heart pounding away in my chest. Then the Icecream machine sprayed me with vanilla, and the strawberry syrup made a not-so-nice fountain of sticky on the floor.
I'm just glad to be back at ISI
